Totally agree Jim. I mainly use the laptop for watching prerecorded shows, and forgot that I only go on line to update. I can live with the lower security level having the slider fully down.

Thanks Jim. Yes moving the slider bar to the bottom does disable that constant UAC, but does it reduce protection.
