I seem to be doing more work within folders, and I'd like to change the default way all folders open. Would enjoy the VIEW field to select DETAILS all the time. Where could I make this change, Mindblower!

Hey MB,
1. Open a folder.
2. Click on View in the menu.
3. Select the type of view you want (in your case... Details).
4. Click on Tools in the menu.
5. Click Folder Options.
6. Click the View tab.
7. Click Apply to All Folders.
You can also use that system to set a default file 'arrangement' for all folders.
