Same in Bandizip (installable version) Sheri, those options are set by default but the user can configure to suit their own preferences.

There hasn’t been a new stable 7-Zip release for years and it does not support the newer RAR5 format which was introduced in 2013. Whereas Bandizip is actively developed.

Picking between the two is largely subjective. I just happen to prefer Bandizip, but 7-Zip remains an excellent choice.

You are 100% correct, I’ve been a bit slack in that department. Bandizip now added into the Recommended Software page with a link to this review.
