I did some research and from all accounts it appears unlikely that Sony would have used Netac drives in their laptops (a smaller Chinese budget brand with some reliability issues) as they usually source drives from the major quality SSD players. That model laptop is apparently made for the Argentinian market but at some stage I reckon it is likely someone other than Sony has put that in there. The only thing going against that theory is that the default SSD size for that model is 256 GB – if it was for an upgrade or repair you’d think you’d put in at least a 500 GB stick whilst you had the bonnet open ! Who knows – as long as the customer is happy !
Cheers
