In reply to Shobha Mathur. Spamgormet.com has been around for many years... probably longer than any of the throw away email sites mentioned is this article. It was the first email protection service I ever used. It is a very robust service. It also works a little differently and may not be quite as convenient, in some cases. A very effective means of protecting your email address, in any event.

I tried the Gmail option to add a ‘+’ eg myname+amazon@gmail.com and it worked but adding a ‘.’ didnt. See below:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
myname.amazon@gmail.com
